COVID-19 Additional Surge Staff (CASS) Office Assistant
Up to $33,120 - $40,308 per year, salary commensurate w/ training and experience
Exempt, non-civil service, full-time, temporary appointment. The primary purpose of this position is to provide clerical support to the Public Health Nursing Branch.
Minimum Qualification(s)
EDUCATION: Graduation from high school or equivalent; successful completion of a clerical/office-support/business technology curriculum leading to a degree or diploma which included courses in English, clerical/office procedures, and mathematics.
EXPERIENCE: One year of work experience which involved performing a variety of clerical work such as: 1) typing of correspondence, reports, and other materials which demonstrated knowledge of English grammar and spelling; 2) using software applications; 3) performing numerous types of arithmetic computations with or without the use of a calculator; 4) receiving telephone calls, take care of routine matters, and make referrals to appropriate persons or offices; 5) preparing materials for filing using standard or accepted methods of systemized arrangement; 6) operating various office equipment.
LICENSE: Valid State of Hawaii driver’s license preferred.
