Job Description
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to an individual in need of assistance. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our client by delivering personalized care and support in various ways. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks aimed at ensuring the well-being of our patient.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Provide patient observation and monitoring to ensure safety and comfort.
  • Support clients with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals tailored to their dietary needs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
  • Administer medication as prescribed and assist with care plans.
  • Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance overall well-being.
  • Assist with mobility needs, which consists of lifting with a coworker.
  • Document vital signs and report any changes in health status to appropriate personnel.
  • Uphold HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality.


Qualifications

  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, Alzheimer’s disease, or dementia is a plus.
  • Strong patient observation skills with the ability to monitor changes in client condition effectively.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for client mobility assistance.
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor towards clients.
  • Familiarity with cleaning protocols and maintaining hygiene standards in caregiving environments.
  • Understanding of basic medical terminology related to patient care. 
  • Have an upbeat and friendly attitude in caring for our patient.
  • Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or long-term care settings is preferred.
  • Knowledge of first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
