KCAA Preschools is looking for an energetic, motivated Preschool Center Director who is passionate about early childhood education and dedicated to the development and growth of the keiki of Hawaii. This position is located at our KCAA Kuapa campus in Hawaii Kai.
Job Summary
Responsible, under the supervision of the President, for the day-to-day supervision of the school; complies with all pertinent State and Federal regulations; plans curriculum program with the Program staff to meet the specific needs of children and the community which the school serves; operates the school's program within budget; ensures that all NAEYC accreditation standards are maintained; ensures that system is in place to provide adequate supplies for staff and children; maintains necessary records and submits required reports in a timely manner; regularly inspects the school premises and equipment for needed repairs and maintenance; issues work orders; supervises the teachers, aides and custodian(s); markets the school to the community, monitoring enrollment; and, is familiar with the operations of the other divisions and departments, particularly in the areas that directly affect the operation of the school.
