Child and Adolescent Mental Health Division (CAMHD) DATA TO WISDOM Social Marketing Director
$4,600 - $5,600 monthly, salary commensurate with training and experience
Exempt, Non-Civil Service, Full-Time, Temporary Appointment. The primary purpose of this position is to focus on implementing various communication and outreach activities for CAMHD’s Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)-funded Data to Wisdom program. The Social Marketing and Outreach Director will: design and implement a comprehensive and successful marketing and communication and outreach plan; engage in public education and outreach activities; liaise with communities, partner agencies, and families to promote and engage in various administrative duties.
Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required. A communications/media major is preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Experience in community relations and community networking preferred. Qualifications in implementing social marketing and outreach activities within state and/or federal government agencies is also preferred. Minimum two (2) years of experience in social marketing, communication, and/or health education, preferably related to promoting awareness of mental health issues.
LICENSE: A Valid Hawaii Driver’s License is Preferred.
