Job Description

A large, local company is seeking a full-time Communications Coordinator to join their team. This position will be responsible for developing and overseeing events, communications, and marketing efforts by working together with various departments, managers, clients, and vendors. Therefore, it is crucial that applicants have excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively. 

 

Add​itional Responsibilities:

 

  • Coordinate potential marketing, advertising, and event efforts with other departments, management, and external vendors
  • Track all marketing and event budgets
  • Develop, maintain, and print all marketing materials, plans, and projects
  • Ensure the accuracy of all external communication efforts such as social media, website, advertisements, company intranet, collateral, etc. 
  • Assist in content development 
  • Coordinate event set-up/ breakdown, manage internal company functions and prepare event recaps 
  • Monitor inventory and restock as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned 

 

Required Education and Qualifications:

 

  • College degree; or 2 years of experience in communications, marketing or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with auto insurance 
  • High computer literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and personnel of all levels
