Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

Supports and collaborates with the Director of Marketing in all marketing efforts.

Essential Duties:


  • Work with the company’s business partners on promotions/advertising
  • Provide suggestions and ideas to increase and maintain the company’s image and visibility
  • Support all departments’ printing needs and maintain inventory of printed materials
  • Responsible for in-store signage, building signs, and other marketing materials
  • Responsible for in-house photography and videography
  • In charge of disseminating internal communications using company intranet, newsletter, social media, etc. to keep employees informed and engaged
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Graphic Design

  • Translating sales/marketing needs and branding strategies into design strategies
  • Designing visual concepts using graphic design tools including design software
  • Selecting colors, fonts, photographs, layouts and other design elements to communicate creative concepts
  • Collaborating with Marketing Director, Sales Managers, and other departments to create media in all forms (i.e. social, digital, and print)
  • Articulating and pitching design concepts to Marketing Director and others in the company

Basic Web Design

  • Design on UI/UX interface such as WordPress, Shopify, SquareSpace or Wix
  • Creating a suitable color scheme or incorporating all the different store’s color scheme into the design
  • Coding the site's navigation
  • Designing buttons and other controls for the site
  • Creating mock-ups of the site for Leadership’s approval
  • Fixing any functionality issues, including the removal of "dead links"
  • Updating and maintaining the site, specifically inventory or product catalog
  •  Making backup files of the site

Social Media

  • Ability to develop and implement a corporate social media strategy
  • Ability to monitor online activity across departments and geographical areas to ensure anyone using the company's online tools is following established guidelines and best-practice rules
  • Encourage greater social media participation
  • Identify opportunities to influence public perception through audience engagement and publicly speaking about the brand's social media strategy

Required Qualifications:


  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Previous marketing/advertising experience
  • Hardworking with a strong work ethic and willingness to change
  • Willingness to have a positive impact on the company’s culture and/or direction
  • Able to work as a member of a team and follow the directions of leadership

Graphic Design

  • Mastery of graphic design software (Adobe Suites such as Photoshop)
  • Solid knowledge of design and visual principles
  • Demonstrated portfolio showing creative, design and software skills
  • Ability to evaluate choices critically, with the customer needs in mind
  • Ability to communicate design choices clearly
  • Great multi-tasking skills and ability to work under pressure

Web Design

  • HTML and CSS
  • Experience with design software (e.g., Photoshop)
  • Understanding of UX/UI (user experience/user interface) design
  • Knowledge of SEO (search engine optimization)
  • WordPress development experience
  • Good visual design sense

Social Media

  • Excellent critical thinking, interpersonal, communication, time-management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to use social media for impressions and brand awareness
  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms including Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Tiktok and Facebook
  • Understanding of social media KPIs, web traffic metrics and SEO
  • Experience doing buyer persona and audience research


  • College degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or related field
  • Valid driver’s license with current auto insurance and acceptable driving record
  • Able to lift 25 lbs.
  • 3+ years of experience preferred

 This is a Full Time, exempt position.

 Salary will be determined upon experience.
