Responsibilities

 

Custodians are responsible for the cleaning of public restrooms, employee restrooms and breakrooms at the USS Arizona Memorial Shoreside Facilities.

 

Must be comfortable with operating common custodial equipment and various powered custodial equipment such as floor buffers, auto scrubbers, wet vac, leaf blowers, etc.

 

Must be able to work independently and as team player. 

 

Must be able to recognize and produce quality cleaning.

 

Must be able to read words or to distinguish different types of chemicals, solutions.

 

Must be able to listen well and consistently follow through with instructions and tasks until completion.

 

Must be able perform work assignments systematically, neatly, or in sequential order.

 

Must be able to interact with co-workers, supervisors, managers, USS Arizona leadership team and USS Arizona Guest Visitors.

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

Custodial experience helpful but not required.  We are willing to train. 

 

Must be comfortable with custodial tasks/duties.

 

Must be able to practice safe work habits.

 

Able to comply with Employment Rules and Regulations.

 

Must be able to pass a post-offer background check, physical, and drug screening.

 

Status / Days / Hours

 

Status: Full and Part-time shifts available (Flexible)

 

Days: Sunday to Saturday

 

Time: 8:30 am to 7:00 pm (1/2 hour to 1-hour Unpaid Lunchbreak)

 

1.       Working Federal Holidays are paid at time and half hourly rate except for non-working Federal Holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years’ – straight pay rate per hour).

 

Salary Range

 

$ 16.20 per hour
