Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Own transportation to/from work

  • Able to work productively with minimal or no supervision

  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Computer, Email, Microsoft Applications, Google and basic office equipment knowledge
 

Duties:

  • Greet walk-in visitors and service Will Call customers
  • Answer incoming calls, identify caller's needs and refer to appropriate staff member for servicing
  • Verifying and logging LCL/Loose Cargo pickups and driver's logs
  • Process customer requests for services via email/phone/fax
  • Respond to customer inquiries and requests regarding deliveries and pickups
  • Communicate with HOT Reps and customers regarding all freight orders/inquiries/concerns/delays
  • Communicate with Dispatcher and Warehouse regarding incoming/outgoing containers, trailer/flatbed deliveries, offloads and reloads
  • Call customers to schedule and arrange deliveries
  • Prepare all paperwork for HOT related orders
  • Generate hand tags, freight tags, receipts for deliveries
  • Coordinate delivery schedule with drivers
  • Follow up on delivery schedules, emails, and inquries
 

Hours for this position are:

Monday thru Friday (occasional weekends), 6:30am - 3pm
