  • Position operates and maintains a personal computer entering data to report relevant information e.t.c

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Operates a personal computer by:
    • Entering required customer data by accurately interpreting a variety of source documents and coded information.
    • Performing required steps dictated by on-line programs and procedures.
    • Handling exception items per procedures.
    • Candidate will be able to correct existing data, update and develop new and existing data and be comfortable working independently with large amounts of numerical and written data.
  • Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information; establishing entry priorities.
  • Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures
  • Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Update databases or records with new information as it becomes available
  • Correct and modify inaccurate files and records
  • Enter data into appropriate fields; databases, records, and files
  • Handle numerical data accurately
  • Create and organizing spreadsheets with large number
  • Summarizing and compiling data for standardized reports
  • Create spreadsheets for large data entry

SKILLS/ABILITIES AND MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to grasp and retain instructions.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of concentration.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Good analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Positive work attitude.
  • Consistently work scheduled hours.
  • Willing to work extra hours, learn new accounts, etc.
  • Flexibility in adjusting schedules and/or account assignments as necessary.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Specialized training in keyboarding or prior keyboarding experience.
