Development Manager

If you love to build relationships, share your enthusiasm for an important cause, and want to help kupuna, the Development Manager at King Lunalilo Trust (KLT) may be right for you!  The Development Manager  will help build donor relationships and engagement with key stakeholder groups. This position works closesly with the Chief Executive Officer and assists with other development activities to help KLT meet revenue goals and access resources necessary to fulfill its mission.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaboarate with the CEO to plan, coordinate, and direct the implementation of the donor relations strategy.
• Plan, organize, coordinate special events that promote KLT’s vision and mission.
• Build and maintain relationships with members of the community, key stakeholders and other organizations.
• Research new funding and development opportunities on local, state, and federal levels to support strategic goals. May prepare and submit grant proposals.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related field.
• Three (3) or more years of experience, non profit experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
