Position Overview

The Director of Business Development and Marketing will lead our efforts to expand market presence, grow customer base, and enhance brand reputation.  As a key member of the leadership team, this role requires a combination of strategic planning, marketing prowess, and a proactive approach to business development.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Brand Ambassador:  Develop a clear understanding of Office Pavilion’s mission, needs, strengths, growth opportunities.  Represent the company with pride, excellence, and a strong sense of community in all endeavors.
  2. Industry and Product Knowledge:  Commit to learning and staying current on industry best practices and trends as well as a deep understanding of products.
  3. Strategic Development:  Shape the company's business development strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  4. Lead Generation & Customer Engagement:  Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities.  Maintain relationships with existing clients.
  5. Marketing Oversight:  Manage the marketing efforts to develop, execute, and evaluate campaigns that effectively communicate the brand's value proposition.
  6. Collaboration:  Work cross-functionally with sales, product, and customer service teams to streamline processes and drive growth.
  7. Market Analysis:  Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business development or marketing role.
  • Proven track record of driving growth and exceeding performance targets.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to think strategically, execute methodically, and reach milestones within ambiguity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Proficient with marketing software and tools, including analytics.

 

Desired Skills but not Required

  • Knowledge and background in contract furnishing sales
