Job Description

Director of Enrollment and Mission Advancement

Objective:

To advocate for the strategic hiring of a qualified communications professional to manage and elevate St.

Joseph School’s digital presence, specifically its social media platforms and website, with the aim of

strengthening brand identity, increasing student enrollment, deepening community engagement, and

expanding the school’s visibility both locally and beyond. This initiative directly supports the school’s

long-term legacy goals and its mission to thrive in a competitive educational landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Social Media Management

○ Develop and execute a content calendar for platforms (Facebook, Instagram, tiktok,

youtube)

○ Create engaging posts, stories, and videos that highlight school life.

○ Respond to inquiries and engage with followers.

○ Ensure posts align with Catholic values and mission.


2. Marketing & Outreach

○ Launch digital campaigns to promote open houses, enrollment deadlines, and school

events.

○ Use analytics tools to track and report performance.

○ Collaborate with the administration on branding and messaging strategies.

○ Understand how ad creative elements perform for each unique advertising goal (traffic,

conversions, and engagement).

○ Ensure our communications remain current and mission-centered.


3.
Community, Parish, Vicariate, and Diocesan Relations

○ Attend and represent St. Joseph School at all key meetings relevant to school

advancement and community engagement.

○ Maintain an active presence in all parishes within the vicariate, building visibility and

trust.

○ Lead mission appeals across the diocese to raise awareness, support, and enrollment

interest.

○ Strengthen and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with pastors and parish

leaders.

○ Advocate for increased diocesan support to further the mission and sustainability of the

school.

Required skills and qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, English, Visual Design, Marketing, Business, New

Media or Public Relations.

Practicing Catholic in full initiation with the Church is preferred

2+ years of demonstrable experience in marketing or digital marketing roles.

Innovative thinker with a keen eye for detail and identifying trends.

Familiarity with marketing analytics tools like Google Analytics and SEMRush.
