Director of Human Resources

Honolulu, HI | 💵 $80,000 – $120,000 | 🕒 Full-Time | Exempt

We’re looking for a Director of Human Resources who’s ready to lead with both strategy and compassion. In this role, you’ll take charge of payroll, benefits, and compliance while also shaping culture, strengthening connections, and building the HR systems that power our award-winning, employee-owned company.

• Lead HR operations: payroll, benefits, compliance, employee relations

• Partner with leaders on workforce planning & culture development

• Guide managers and employees on performance, coaching, and employee development

• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and engagement programs

• Improve HR systems, policies, and processes for growth

You’re a detail-oriented HR leader who thrives in a collaborative environment. You balance compliance with culture, bring strong problem-solving skills, and inspire trust at all levels of the organization.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• 7+ years of progressive HR experience (leadership required)

• Knowledge of Hawaii and federal employment laws

• HR certification preferred (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP)
