ACCOUNT CLERK
Epidemiology and Laboratory Capacity (ELC)
Up to $3,160 - $3,846 per month, salary commensurate with training and experience

Exempt, non-civil service, full-time, temporary appointment. The primary purpose of this position is to organize, manage and evaluate fiscal accounts and records for programs within the Division. This position maintains records and grant fund files, creates and processes purchase orders and payments, processes time sheets, orders and stocks supply, manages accounts, monitors fiscal arrangements in contracts, and maintains a petty cash fund. This includes formulation and execution of the budget, consultation to staff on fiscal matters and is custodian of equipment and equipment maintenance.

Minimum Qualifications
Â
EDUCATION:Â High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Â
EXPERIENCE:Â Must meet minimum experience requirements for the class Account Clerk III.

This position is exempt from civil service. Employment in such positions is considered to be “at will.†This position can be up to a 24-month appointment, federally funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Epidemiology and Laboratory Capacity (ELC) Cooperative Agreement for the budget period beginning August 1, 2020 – July 31, 2024. Continuation of this position will be dependent on a successful application for subsequent grant periods.
