Epidemiology and Laboratory Capacity (ELC) Office Assistant
$3,006 - $3,809 per month, salary commensurate with training and experience
Exempt, non-civil service, full-time, temporary appointment. The primary purpose of this position is to perform clerical duties and immediate support to the Secretary III of the Division.
Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION: High School graduate.
EXPERIENCE: One and one-half (1 ½) years of work experience which involved performance of clerical tasks which demonstrated knowledge of English grammar; spelling and arithmetic.
LICENSE: Valid State of Hawaii driver’s license preferred.

This position is exempt from civil service. Employment in such positions is considered to be “at will.” This position can be up to a 24-month appointment, federally funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Epidemiology and Laboratory Capacity (ELC) Cooperative Agreement for the budget period beginning August 1, 2023 – July 31, 2024. Continuation of this position will be dependent on a successful application for subsequent grant periods.
