POSITION SUMMARY:
The Field Representative is responsible for servicing and selling to retail accounts within an assigned territory to ensure client standards are met and volume is increased. Adhere to suggested frequency and call times.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:
- Increase sales volume by identifying and addressing distribution and replenishment issues.
- Ensure assortment integrity and verify newly authorized items are set into store distribution via approved planogram.
- Drive promotional sales by suggesting quantities needed and request secondary display activity.
- Aid in inventory control by identifying incremental sales opportunities.
- Ensure all authorized items are in distribution in accordance with client’s shelf standards with appropriate signage.
- Foster customer relationships with store teams and provide excellent customer service.
- Communicate all competitive activity and necessary client information to supervisor as necessary.
- Provide all administrative requirements on a timely basis (store orders, call reports, store audits, mileage reports, etc.)
- Write orders, and prepare professional proposals, presentations and correspondence.
- Responsive to customer requests with strong initiatives, able to wok independently with little to no supervision.
- Possess strong organizational skills and manage time efficiently.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proficient in MS Office (specifically Excel)
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Have good verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to use an iPad.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and car to visit customers in assigned territory.
- Must provide a driver’s abstract and evidence of insurability.
