Summary:
The Front Desk Agent is the first and last impression of a guest’s experience at Waikiki Malia. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy-going personality while also being very perceptive, disciplined, and knowledgeable. A customer-oriented approach is essential.
Essential Job Duties:
- Greets and welcome guests with a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
- Performs check in and check out procedures while posting guest charges accurately.
- Handles all guest information with confidentiality.
- Assists guests with questions, directions, and other important information regarding the hotel and surrounding neighborhood.
- Common sense and good judgment are crucial in this position. Must know how to field complaints and respond to them in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner.
- Must be able to show initiative, including anticipating guest and operational needs.
- Perform a variety of other duties as assigned.
General Requirements:
- The Front Desk Agent must be reliable and flexible for scheduling;available on nights, weekends, and holidays (as necessary).
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Computer skills and knowledge are required.
- Experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
