Integrated Facility Services Hawaii (IFSH) is seeking an experienced and dependable Building Engineer to support the maintenance and daily operations of commercial properties. We offer competitive pay, great benefits, and opportunities for professional growth.

 

Salary: $30 - $35.00

 

Job Type: Full Time

 

Shift and schedule: TBD - and emergency on-call support.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical building systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and general building repairs.
• Monitor building equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Respond to maintenance requests, equipment failures, and emergencies.
• Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Coordinate with property management, contractors, and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and building standards.
• Maintain clean and organized mechanical rooms and work areas.

 

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of commercial building maintenance or engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining commercial building equipment.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance tasks.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• HVAC or related trade certification preferred.
• Ability to perform physical maintenance duties and lift up to 50 lbs.
