Waikiki Health is seeking a full-time HIV Prevention Program Assistant
Pay rate for this role is $20 per hour/salary
Schedule: 40-hour work week, Monday - Friday

Summary of position: Provides operational, administrative, and programmatic support that is focused on HIV and Hepatitis prevention, testing, and linkage to care.
Qualifications and Skills
● Education: High School Diploma/GED required. Post-high school education is desirable. Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
● Experience: Administrative work, community outreach, and social services settings.
● Flexibility: to work at occasional evenings and 12-hour travel/outreach at the neighbor islands.
● Physical Demands: driving and lifting/carrying outreach bags.
● Environment: field/outreach work at substance abuse treatment facilities.
● Certifications
○ Valid Hawaii driver’s license with clean driving abstract required.
○ Trained in phlebotomy or willingness to learn.
○ CPR/AED/First Aid Certified or willing to be certified, and TB Clearance required.
Administrative Duties
· Replenish rapid testing forms and education information materials in office (intake/consent forms, OTL forms, and referral cards.)
· Coordinate and purchases airfare travel, hotel, and necessary accommodations for the Neighbor Island outreach.
· Ensure that all documents are prepared and processed in a timely manner (check requests, credit card authorizations, per diem, airport parking receipts, mileage reimbursements, gas receipts, travel arrangements. Submits check requests to AvidXchange.
· Submit gas receipts and mileage forms to Finance Department.
· Ensure the ordering, organizing, inventories, storage and distribution of all supplies including office, medical, and preventive.
· Coordinate regular maintenance services for the office vehicle.
· Assist other staff as needed.
· Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
Outreach Duties
· Assists in all aspects of outreach which includes the following:
o travel within Oahu and to the neighbor islands
o provide one-on-one counseling and testing for HIV and Hepatitis C
o packing for outreach
o data entries
o perform other tasks and duties assigned.
