HIV Transmission Reduction Investigation Specialist

 

$4,079 per month, salary commensurate with training and experience

 

Fulltime, Temporary, Non-civil service appointment.  This position provides direct outreach, referral and EIS to newly and previously diagnosed persons and high-risk HIV negative persons to support linkage with HIV health care and treatment and related services and to assure that high risk HIV negative individuals have access PrEP.

 

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

EDUCATION:  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferably in biological science, nursing, public health, social work or related areas of study.

 

EXPERIENCE:  One and a half years of professional front line/field work providing outreach, counseling, referral, case management or early intervention services preferably for HIV, STD or viral hepatitis.

 

LICENSE:  Valid driver’s license.
