Job Description


  1.  Performs duties for the front desk such as providing customer service either in person or over the telephone, answering telephones and directing calls, greeting visitors, monitoring visitor access, and ensuring that everyone is properly signed in/out and provided with a visitor badge upon arrival for security purposes.
  2. Greets job applicants, answers general inquiries, provides information regarding job vacancies and assists applicants in the completion of employment applications. Create/prepare new hire employee folders and new hire packets.
  3. Data entry to HR software programs to create applicant and new employee records ensuring records are complete and accurate, including disciplinary data entry, employee info change data entry, and open enrollment data entry.
  4. Accurately inputs data, maintains filing system, recording records and pertinent confidential information.
  5. Performs administrative support to the Human Resources Department answering phones, email correspondence and follow up, coordinating meetings and functions along with other administrative duties.
  6. Files pertinent employment documents and credentials including I-9 forms, EE verification, background checks, TB certificates, driver abstracts, etc.
  7. Tracks expiration date of credentials such as driver license, First Aid, CPR and TB and notify employees, their supervisor and HR Benefits Coordinator.


  1. Ensures confidentiality of records. Does not disclose information except when following the guidelines stipulated by Lanakila Pacific’s policies and procedures.
  2. Participates in maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
  3. Responsible for all assigned materials, supplies, and equipment.
  4. Attends training sessions as mandated by organizational policy and or as recommended by management.
  5. Performs all other duties as assigned.
  6. Support and participate in the safeguard, security, and confidentiality of all data, records, company properties, program participants and personnel.

  1. High School diploma or equivalent plus
  2. Two years’ experience in administrative work


  1. Demonstrate the ability to communicate grammatically correct in oral and written form.
  2. Demonstrate an intermediate level proficiency in office software applications such as Microsoft Office; Word, Excel and/or similar applications.
  3. Typing speed of 55 wpm with accuracy
  4. Ability to exhibit proper phone etiquette and customer service skill
  5. Demonstrate organization skills with file management, data entry, and record keeping
  6. Demonstrate ability to work with persons with diverse backgrounds
