Job Description

STEADFAST HOUSING DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, a nonprofit organization established in 1989, offers a range of housing options for adults living with serious mental illnesses. We are currently seeking a full-time Program Support Clerk for our Semi-Independent Program at the Hale Ulu Pono facility in Kapolei, Oahu. The Program Support Clerk will provide clerical, secretarial, and administrative support to the Program Manager and/or Recovery Skills Specialists in the program's daily operations. The hourly wage for this position ranges from $19.00 to $21.00, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily office tasks and other clerical duties as required or assigned by the Recovery Skills Specialist and the Program Manager, including filing, copying, processing and monitoring paperwork, preparing reports, completing forms, and running errands.
  • Process tenant application packages by creating new tenant folders and verifying the completeness and accuracy of forms. Contact Recovery Skills Specialists and/or Case Managers to obtain any missing paperwork. Distribute copies of executed leases, tenant packets, and assessments to the appropriate parties. Maintain files as directed.

  • Screens telephone calls, takes messages, and refers calls to the appropriate people.
  • Maintains and updates the Consumer waitlist with CES (Coordinated Entry System Referral List) for Hale Ulu Pono.
  • Attends weekly CES Referral Meetings with the Program Manager to accept, deny, or Unassign.
  • Arranges required documents with Case Managers for the HUP Referral Packet and schedules the Screening and Move-In date.
  • Enrolls the Consumer into HMIS, CCS, and the AMHD database.
  • Maintain and update HMIS and CORPUS databases as needed.
  • Maintain and update EZ Claim Reports and HUP CCS Monthly face-to-face reports.
  • And other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED; an associate degree in social sciences or human services is preferred.
  • Valid Hawaii Driver's License with a clean record.
  • One year of experience in behavioral health support services and case management.
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening; must have a personal vehicle.
