Housekeeper, St Joseph Parish, Hilo

The Housekeeper provides cleaning and other domestic services for the Church

Position Summary

• Develops cleaning schedule to assure rectory is maintained in an orderly manner.

• Purchases and/or orders cleaning supplies for the rectory.

• On occasion, prepares meals, including meals for guests or events.

• Provides laundry services as needed.

• Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications

• Experience in household cleaning• Ability to work flexible hours

• Ability to maintain confidentiality

Physical & Environmental Job Requirements

• Bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling and moving item (Frequently requires the ability to lift and move heavy and bulky items without assistance)

• May work with hazardous materials or chemicals, areas can be dusty
