Housekeeping Supervisor

Our housekeeping team plays a huge role in that experience, and we’re looking for a strong leader to help maintain and elevate our standards.

Position Overview

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and hands-on Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team. This role is responsible for overseeing daily cleaning operations, ensuring quality standards are met, and supporting team members to perform at their best.

You’ll be both leading and working alongside the team, this is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in cleanliness, organization, and team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms, dorms, bathrooms, and common areas
• Inspect rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are consistently met
• Train, guide, and support housekeeping staff (including new hires)
• Create and manage daily cleaning schedules and room assignments
• Ensure proper use of cleaning supplies and maintain inventory levels
• Report and follow up on maintenance or safety issues
• Step in to assist with cleaning as needed (including rooms and grounds)
• Maintain a positive, productive, and team-oriented work environment
• Ensure all areas meet hostel standards for hygiene, safety, and presentation

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience required; supervisory or leadership experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and high cleanliness standards
• Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team
• Comfortable with physical tasks (lifting up to 30 lbs, standing, bending, etc.)
• Organized, reliable, and able to manage time effectively
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
