Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.
  • Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.
  • Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups. 
  • Support users and manages PC resources to ensure effective utilization.
  • Performs routine tasks to maintain computer equipment and their peripherals.
  • Develops and communicates systems and procedures that control the use of PC resources and ensures the integrity of PC systems.
  • Evaluates and/or test the application of new PC technology and makes recommendations based on findings.
  • Maintain the organizations computer network; manages network performance, maintains security, and troubleshoots network problems.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems to support the organizations client/server software applications.
  • Maintains systems to protect data from unauthorized user.
  • Identifies, reports, and resolves security violations.
  • Implement HIPAA Security Policies pertaining to computer technology.
  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Director. 

 

Skills/Qualifications

  • Ability to work effectively and independently with various levels of clinical and administrative staff, community leaders and provider/agency representatives.
  • Excellent problem solving, organizational and time management skills. 

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Network Management of related field
  • Information Systems Security Certification
  • Two (2) years of relevant work experience 

 

Working Hours

Normally 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m., Monday through Friday.  Some evening and weekend work may be required; dependent on requirement of position duties and responsibilities.
