There is one vacancy with the Department of Transportation Services.

 

Performs all activities associated with long and short term multimodal operations and infrastructure planning and investments.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor major technical planning studies and complex technical program projects.
  • Lead public outreach and communications with various stakeholders, including special attention to traditionally under-served populations.
  • Review, analyze, and recommend changes in multimodal services, connections, and infrastructure to improve productivity and performance.
  • Responsible for service integration planning, service change public processes, and operational implementation of multimodal services.
  • Coordinate with other modal providers to improve multimodal options and modal integration across the region.
  • Assist with department-level analysis of system design, business process, data, technology, and change management.
  • Responsible for quality assurance measures and support necessary to monitor, review and analyze the performance of the operations and maintenance services contractor with regard to multimodal operations and infrastructure to ensure a safe, reliable, and customer experience driven service.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:

Four years of experience performing major technical planning studies and/or complex technical program projects in the performance of multimodal operation and infrastructure planning work as a primary function in a large public or private transportation organization.

 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:

Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four year college or university with a bachelor's degree in urban or transportation planning, public administration, an engineering specialty or a related field.
