We are dedicated to providing an experience that allows the intern to gain an understanding of how an impact-first island resiliency and sustainability company operates by giving them projects that not only support the team’s success, but the overall achievement of Mana Pacific’s mission in the Pacific.

About the Internship 

The Internship program will be tailored to the intern’s unique strengths and interests. The role may include the following projects: analyze market trends, technologies, changes in customer preferences to determine how best to meet Mana Pacific’s mission of accelerating the transition to sustainable energy in the Pacific. The role may also include participating in stakeholder engagement activities and supporting the team with the technical or economic analysis aspects of renewable energy project development. 

Requirements

  • Have a MBA, MS, or bachelor’s degree in economics, engineering, sustainability or related field

  • Demonstrated research and analytical skills

  • Energetic self-starter; able to work independently

  • Proven ability to multitask and handle complexity

  • Teamwork oriented; willingness to work to the benefit of others

  • Ability to clearly communicate concepts and support hypothesis with data

  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) 

  • Experience in Google Workspace Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Gmail) 

  • Reliable internet and phone access

  • Background in community engagement and passion for sustainable energy (preferred)

  • CRM and/or Project Management experience (a bonus)
