Job Description

Large, established food distribution company is looking for a full-time Inventory Clerk to join their team!  

 

As the Inventory Clerk, you’ll be responsible for monitoring and maintaining inventory levels and researching inventory discrepancies. You will also be providing backup administrative support as needed.

 

Additional Responsibilities:

 

  • Monitor and maintain current inventory levels.
  • Investigate all inventory overages, shortages, and damages.
  • Prepare claims report with gathered information and research.
  • Assist with data entry, including inputting pallet charges.
  • Perform monthly inventory for various clients.
  • Provide backup administrative support, including answering phones, taking orders, and running reports.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.

 

Required Education and Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum 1 year of administrative or clerical work experience required.
  • Must possess a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to communicate and work with all levels of management.
  • Strong computer skills and working knowledge of various office equipment.
