Job Description

The Faciltieis Supervisor is responsible to maintain the essential care of the buildings and grounds. The Facilities Supersivor will lead, develop and maintain schedules for security, life safety, and essential custodial functions. The Facility Supersivor is responsible for executing and supporting site-use for events, and may be invovled in coordinating and planning event activity. The Facilities Supervisor will prioritize the health and safety of the team, members, and building and grounds.

 

The position must demonstrate competenance and ability in the following essential duties:

  • Communication Skills – Must lead and develop the facilities team, foster wellbeing for employees, responsible to work with various levels of management, vendors, tenants, as well as members and guests. Requires use of personal smart phone and company assigned computer for daily communicaiton, and mangaging essential adminstrative task.
  • Maintenance Knowledge – Must have knowledge building and grounds maintenance, including skilled and unskilled plumbing, carpentry, electrical, masonry, equipment care, and landscaping. 
  • Time Management Skills –  Must be able to prioritize work flow, meet deadlines, and effectively manage administrative and labor force tasks. Must have capacity to prioritize duties for safety and efficiency in operations.
  • Physical Fitness – Must be able perform routine physical activity and inspect the work of others outdoors. On occasion, may require working on roofs and ladders, use of power tools, lifting up to 40lbs, and tasks necessary to supervise 11-acres of facilities and grounds.
