Lead Inventory Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Lead Inventory Specialist to join our team at Re-use Hawaiʻi. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and manage all aspects of our Receiving department, ensuring efficient inventory management and pricing strategies for our Redistribution Center.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain an organized material inventory and data system
- Research, catalog, and price materials according to Re-use Hawai?i Redistribution Center guidelines
- Implement strategic pricing agendas and proper procedures within the inventory management system
- Supervise and manage a team of 2 non-supervisory employees
- Conduct interviews, hire, and train new employees
- Plan, assign, and direct work for team members
- Appraise performance, reward, and discipline employees as necessary
- Address complaints and resolve problems within the department
- Ensure compliance with organization policies and applicable laws

Requirements:
- Proven experience in inventory management and team leadership
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and data entry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Familiarity with pricing strategies and market trends
- Physical ability to lift and move materials as needed
- Availability to work full-time,  ~40 hours per week (must be able to work weekends), 8:45am - 5:15pm
