At Hawaii Foodservice Alliance (HFA), we're Hawaiʻi's largest local supplier of perishable foods and logistics, serving communities across the islands every day.

We're looking for a motivated Merchandiser Team Lead who is ready to take on more responsibility, lead by example, and help set the standard for the merchandising team.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working alongside others and wants to continue developing their leadership skills. You'll help keep the team moving, share your experience with other Merchandisers, and be someone Team Members can rely on throughout the day.

What You'll Do

• Lead by example while working alongside the merchandising team
• Help keep daily merchandising priorities and goals on track
• Train and coach Merchandisers on proper processes, safety requirements, and customer needs
• Share feedback and help Team Members improve their skills and consistency
• Identify and help correct product rotation, merchandising, and service issues
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with store associates and managers
• Communicate observations, challenges, and market trends
• Help solve day-to-day problems in the field and keep work moving
• Stock and rotate products while maintaining merchandising and product presentation standards
• Assist with promotional setups and changing customer needs
• Help create a positive, hardworking, and team-focused environment

What We're Looking For

• Previous merchandising experience
• Interest in growing into a leadership role
• Someone who leads by example and is willing to step up when needed
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable helping train, coach, and provide feedback to Team Members
• Able to solve problems and adapt to changing needs in the field
• Reliable and comfortable working independently
• Enjoys working as part of a team and helping others succeed
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 50 pounds
• Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and acceptable driving record
• Access to a dependable vehicle for work use
