At Hawaii Foodservice Alliance (HFA), we help support the movement of food and products across the islands every day. As Hawai‘i’s largest local supplier of perishable foods and logistics services, our operations help serve grocery stores, restaurants, retailers, and local communities statewide.

We’re looking for an organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to support daily transportation and container operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating moving parts, solving problems, and working closely with drivers, warehouses, ports, and logistics teams in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate container movement, deliveries, and transportation schedules
• Communicate with customers, carriers, warehouse teams, and drivers regarding shipment updates
• Maintain billing, scanning, shipment records, and transportation documentation
• Support the timely movement of containers between ports, warehouses, and customer locations
• Help identify and resolve operational or scheduling issues
• Work closely with logistics, warehouse, and administrative teams
• Assist with additional operational and administrative support as needed

Preferred Experience

• Transportation, logistics, dispatching, shipping, warehouse coordination, drayage operations, or supply chain operations
• Familiarity with Matson, Pasha Hawaii, Young Brothers, or local port/container operations
• Knowledge of local routes, delivery scheduling, and shipment coordination
• Experience with billing, dispatching, scanning, or transportation documentation
• Understanding of transportation regulations and compliance requirements preferred
