Key Responsibilities

• Visionary Instruction:Design and implement engaging math curricula for grades 6-8 that align with modern pedagogical standards and the school’s mission.
• Project-Based Learning (PBL):Develop and lead hands-on, inquiry-based projects that connect mathematical concepts to tangible, real-world challenges.
• Active Collaboration:Work closely with colleagues and interdisciplinary teams to align curriculum, share best practices, and support holistic student growth.
• Student Mentorship:Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that accommodates diverse learning styles and encourages students to take academic risks.

Qualifications

• Education:Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degreein Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
• Experience:Previous teaching experience is required; specific experience within a middle school setting is strongly preferred.
• Core Competencies:Proven expertise in Project-Based Learningand a dedicated, team-player mindset.
