Job Summary

Assists with planning and carrying out Aloha Pacific Federal Credit Union’s information security strategy. Helps to implement the security standards and best practices set forth by Information Security. Responsible for provisioning, implementation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of network and security-related hardware and software. Responsible for enforcing the network security policy and complying with requirements of external security audits and recommendations. Works closely with the information security team to ensure that the infrastructure of Aloha Pacific Federal Credit Union is secure. Collaborates with other departments to enhance, maintain, monitor, alert, and respond to security issues as they relate to infrastructure of the credit union. 



Minimum Qualifications

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Computer Science, Information Science, Management Information Systems, Information Security, Engineering, or equivalent from four-year college or technical school; five (5) years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.  
  • Experience with networking technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools. 
  • Thorough understanding of the latest network and security principles, techniques, and protocols. 
  • Familiarity with web related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service Oriented Architectures) and of network/web related protocols.  
  • Credit must be in good standing. 
  • Must be bondable pursuant to §713.3(b) of the NCUA’s Rules and Regulations.
  • Relevant experience in a financial institution preferred.
