Job Description:

Under the general supervision of the Vice President and Chief Medical Director, the Nurse Practitioner will provide advanced nursing care services to patients with inpatient and outpatient rehbilitation needs.  These settings include, but are not limited to the outpatient Physician's Clinic, inpatient rehab departments, and community hospitals with rehabilitation consultative needs.  Individuals served are represented throught the age and gender spectrum, but whose medical needs are determiend by the nurse practitioner's National Certification.


  • Current State of Hawaii RN and APRn licensure with prescriptive authority.
  • Current healthcare CPR certification within one (1) month from date of hire (Healthcare provider course or equivalent which includes neonatal, child, adult and AEDs) and maintains certification thereafter.
  • Current ACLS training.
  • Master's and/or Doctorate degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) in related filed of speciality as accepted by the Hawaii State Board of Nursing.
  • A minimum of three (3) years acute care experience; preferably with rehab experience.
  • Knowledge of disease prevention.
  • Must be proficient with medical insturments and equipment required by the work.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and skills in customer service, conflict resolution, counseling, problem solving, decision making, oral communication, written communication, interpersonal relations, adaptability, change management, results orientation, and teamwork.
