Schedule:
 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Student Population: Kindergarten through Grade 5

Position Summary

The Dwight Otani Enrichment Academy is seeking an energetic, dependable, and positive Nutrition & Fitness Leader to provide a safe, engaging, and active environment for students during our after-school program. This position is responsible for preparing and serving healthy snacks, leading age-appropriate nutrition lessons, and facilitating fun physical fitness activities that encourage healthy habits and teamwork.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve healthy afternoon snacks while following safe food handling practices.

  • Lead engaging nutrition lessons that introduce students to healthy eating habits.

  • Plan and facilitate structured fitness and wellness activities for students in grades K through 8.

  • Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.

  • Supervise students and manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement.

  • Promote teamwork, respect, sportsmanship, and healthy lifestyle choices.

  • Set up and clean activity and snack areas before and after each session.

  • Communicate professionally with staff, students, and parents as needed.

  • Follow all Saint Louis School and Dwight Otani Enrichment Academy policies and procedures.

  • Respond appropriately to student needs and emergencies.

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Must successfully pass a background check.

  • Must provide a current TB clearance with passing results.

  • First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
