Job Description

We are seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join our team on Oahu. The ideal candidate pays very close attention to detail and thrives in a complex and fast-paced warehouse environment. This will be a fun job for you if you don’t like sitting behind a desk.

  • Push and pull products; Stock bread, milk, and eggs
  • Monitor and update master schedule to reflect inventory turnover, stocking decisions, and administrative controls.
  • Maintain and update inventory system.
  • Work closely with Manager to control flow of supplies.
  • Execute loss mitigation processes and protocols.
  • Assist with annual inventory counts including pre-counts.
  • Address daily stock load discrepancies.
  • Perform cycle counts.
  • Address any problems, obstacles or challenges.
  • Operate forklift truck when necessary.
  • Follow all existing company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as requested in a diligent and conscientious manner.
  • Ability to work in a cold environment for long periods of time.


  • Demonstrate the ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions and solve problems immediately.
  • Show the ability to work well under pressure, such as when inventory deliveries or shipments become late or forgotten.
  • Possess effective written and verbal communication skills; displays reading comprehension skills.
  • Exhibit the ability to work well with others and maintain organization between cross-related departments.
  • Display the ability to multitask and handle multiple issues at the same time without stress.
  • Display positive attitude and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Demonstrates critical knowledge & skills including tools, software applications, language, etc.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office computer applications.
  • Able to work flexible hours and shifts, including weekends, nights and holidays as required by the needs of the business.
  • Minimum 3 years of inventory experience in wholesale distribution or warehousing.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
