The Senior HR Generalist is a key member of our Human Resources team and will be responsible for providing HR support and expertise across multiple functional areas. This role involves a combination of strategic and tactical HR operations, employee relations, recruitment, and HR compliance. The Senior HR Generalist will collaborate closely with management and employees to foster a positive workplace environment and support the organization's strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will bring their applied knowledge of human resources to support the ongoing growth and development of our diverse team of over 500 team members.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Partner with HR Team and Leadership to implement initiatives that support workforce planning, talent acquisition and retention, succession planning, employee engagement, and organizational design.
  • Facilitate effective communication channels between employees and management. Implement communication programs and tools to ensure employees are informed about organizational updates, policies, and initiatives.
  • Serve as a mediator and provide guidance in resolving employee conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary issues. Investigate employee complaints and concerns, ensuring fair and objective treatment for all parties involved. Develop and implement conflict resolution strategies that foster a positive work environment.
  • Collaborate with Leaders and provide guidance on performance improvement plans, coaching, and feedback.
  • Identify, develop, evaluate management training programs. Conduct workshops and training sessions for employees and managers on topics such as employee relations, conflict resolution, communication, and diversity and inclusion.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements, conducting interviews, assessing candidates, and assist in the selection process.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant with labor laws. Monitor and report on compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Stay up to date with employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE’LL LOVE ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HR roles, with a strong understanding of HR best practices, including but not limited to, employee relations and HR management.
  • Service-oriented and able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, handle multiple projects, and be proactive going beyond the call of duty.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Proficiency in HR software and tools.
  • Certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
