The Warehouse Loader Lead is responsible for loading perishable food products onto trucks while helping coordinate nightly loading activities. This role supports the warehouse supervisor by guiding loader team members, ensuring accuracy of loads, maintaining safety standards, and helping keep operations running efficiently.

Nightly start time at 9:00PM, weekends and holidays required.
Valid Driver's License

WHAT YOU'LL DO 

• Load pallets and loose perishable goods into trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks
• Help coordinate nightly loading activities to ensure trucks are loaded accurately and on schedule
• Lead by example by performing hands-on loading duties alongside the team
• Ensure cargo is properly secured and balanced in trucks to prevent damage during transport
• Verify accuracy and completeness of cargo prior to truck departure
• Organize and stage product based on delivery routes and loading plans
• Provide guidance and support to warehouse loader team members during the shift
• Assist with training new loaders on proper loading procedures, safety practices, and equipment use
• Communicate with supervisors, drivers, and warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe loading area
• Monitor equipment usage and report any issues or safety concerns
• Occasionally assist with box truck driving duties as needed

WHAT WE’LL LOVE ABOUT YOU

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License
• Prior warehouse experience required; lead or supervisory experience preferred
• Forklift experience required; certification a plus
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and in cold temperatures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure load accuracy
• Good communication skills and ability to support and guide team members
• Ability to stay organized while coordinating multiple loading tasks
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays
