ST. PHILOMENA EARLY LEARNING CENTER A MONTESSORI BASED PROGRAM

Job Description for a School Receptionist:

· Prepares and/or edits electronic documents in word/excel/power point formats

· Process materials for the purpose of disseminating information to appropriate parties

· Warmly greet all visitors to the school and direct them to the appropriate place or person

· Provide a professional and welcoming reception/front desk service

· Deal with both simple and more complex enquires from internal and external customers in a professional manner, following established procedures, referring complex enquires to relevant staff members, ensuring all relevant facts and information that is needed is recorded and passed on

· Undertake a variety of routine administrative duties to support the team and School (for example create and circulate the weekly teaching bulletin, manage driver authorization forms, keep the School’s coffee room neat and tidy )

· Organize meetings and coordinate the School’s calendar as needed

· Provide support for the organization of School graduation reception

· Input information in children’s folder and producing established reports and letters

· Take an active role in the School Office supporting team objectives and administrative processes and other team members, contributing to the training of new team members

· Assist in calling for children using the phone or walkie talkie

· Answer phone calls
