On-call ESL Teacher

English Language school in Waikiki, Hawaii looking for individuals available as an on-call ESL Instructor for classes held in-person at our school.

Founded in 2007, our English Language school has been the gathering place for students of all ages, English levels, and nationalities to experience an English-speaking environment with the true taste of Aloha.

We are currently looking for instructors available for in-person private, semi-private, and group lessons for students of all ages and various English Language abilities. Classes are normally held during school hours Monday - Friday, 8:30AM - 4:30PM at our school in Waikiki, Hawaii.

Responsibilities:
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students
- Provide individualized instruction to meet the needs of each student
- Assess student progress and provide feedback on their language development
- Engage students in the learning process
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student success
- Provide guidance and support to students in their language acquisition journey
- Foster a love for language learning and cultural understanding

Qualifications:

- Experience working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds

-Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Proficiency in spoken and written English commensurate with a teacher's role as a language model

-Experience teaching a wide variety of English skills, abilities, and age levels.

- Familiarity in a classroom/tutoring setting.

-Flexibility with schedule based on class enrollment
