Job Description

At HFA, our company culture is built on a foundation of respect, diversity, commitment and partnership. We are a locally-owned food distributor, in business over 18 years.  We specialize in highly perishable foods sourced locally and from the West Coast.  We service grocers, clubs and convenience stores throughout the Hawaiian Islands.

HFA is looking for Part-Time Merchandisers for the Oahu area.  This is a great position for someone looking for a second job or looking to work a few hours a day. Hours are from 9am to 1pm; Thursday to Monday weekly.  Must be available to work at least 2 days a week.

The Merchandiser is responsible for product placement at selected stores. The role requires timely arrival to store, replenishing shelves and ensuring proper display of merchandise. No experience needed. Looking for someone eager to learn.


  • Service customers in the East, Central, West and North Oahu areas.
  • Maintain relationships at store level.
  • General stocking, rotating inventory, merchandising displays of various food items, handling product.
  • Constantly act in a safe manner and bring to Supervisor’s attention if an area may not be recognized as safe.
  • Excellent communication skills & positive personality.
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel).
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
