Pediatric Mental Health Care Access (PMHCA) Specialist

$54,300 - $62,136 yearly, salary commensurate w/ training and experience

 

Exempt, non-civil service, temporary, full-time appointment. This position will assist with the coordination of the Pediatric Mental Health Care Access (PMHCA) project activities and provide support to the PMHCA Coordinator.  The position will conduct research on Project Echo, to determine video conferencing capabilities and determines how it can benefit rural and underserved communicates in Hawaii, in the area of pediatric mental health care.  The position will also research other data collection mechanism and surveillance systems and compile information into spreadsheets for review by the PMHCA Coordinator , search and document data and data sources, and assist in making changes to the data system as directed by the PMHCA Coordinator.

 

 

Minimum Qualification(s)

 

EDUCATION:  Graduation from an accredited four (4) year college or university with a bachelor’s degree.

 

EXPERIENCE:  One and a half (1 ½) years of progressively responsible professional work experience which required a high degree of analytical skill.  Such experience must have involved gathering, evaluating, and analyzing facts and other pertinent information required to resolve problems and/or to determine and recommend appropriate courses of action.  Such experience must have also demonstrated the ability to elicit information orally and in writing; read, comprehend, interpret, and evaluate technical subjects, and analyses, or proposals; and apply problem-solving methods and techniques, such as defining and analyzing problems, identifying alternative courses of action, sing judgement in determining appropriate alternatives, and prepare clear and concise written reports and recommendations for action.
