Playground, Turf and Surfacing Installers Needed.

 $25 = $35 hr

Founded in 2003, Nylawn is a locally owned and operated licensed Landscape Contractor and Hawaii's leader in synthetic turf and playground installation.  Operating out of Sand Island, our company services include sales, installation of commercial and residential lawns, putting greens, shades, recreation surfacing and playgrounds throughout the Islands.

We are in need of dependable, hard workers to join our team, building playgrounds from the ground up, refurbishing older playgrounds, laying synthetic turf,  poured rubber surfacing, resilient tiles, shades, sports fields and other recreation related equipment. This position offers opportunity for growth that can lead to leadership rolls and higher pay.

Requirements:

Driver's license and reliable means to get to work on time every workday. - REQUIRED

Excellent attendance & punctuality record,  reliable

Fast learner, fast paced, hard worker

Follows specific plans,  protocol and pays attention to detail

Ability to anticipate what needs to be done and to proactively take action

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and direction

Construction and or installation experience

Own your own necessary tools, maintain and have ready for each job

Work 4 day work week (Mon-Thur) some Fridays, weekends, and outer island jobs - as needed

Typical work day:

Arrive ready to work: Prepare for job at warehouse, loading trucks with needed supplies, etc.

On Site: Prepping can include digging, excavating, demo, aggregate, etc.

Installation: Concrete footers, aggregate, turf, Playground structure, concrete work,, etc.

Finish: Clean up, client communications, organize warehouse and prepare for next project, etc.

Pluses:

Experience in any of the above or similar installation processes like, carpet, tile, troweling, building or concrete work.
