Prep Cook - Hawaii Kai

Kona Brewing Hawaii, has an immediate opening for a Prep Cook in Hawaii Kai on  Oahu.

Specific job duties include:

• • Adheres to proper hygiene
  • Adheres to proper food handling procedures
  • Ensures overall sanitation of kitchen areas including cleaning schedule is completed
  • Preps food
  • Stocks and restocks stations
  • Maintains par levels of inventory
  • Performs final preparation of food for customers
  • Keeps waste to a minimum
  • Maintains kitchen equipment in good order  
  • Work the sauté/expo position.
  • Cleanliness of dishes, silverware, and kitchen equipment.
  • Cleanliness of kitchen during all working hours.
  • Kitchen labor cost control.
  • Attendance required per company policy.

  • 1+ years of experience cooking in a fast paced commercial kitchen

  • Good knife skills, basic sauce and prep knowledge
  • Knowledge of FIFO system
