Preschool & Toddler Teacher

The Children’s Discovery Center is a hands-on interactive learning environment designed to inspire children and parents to learn together through play. We are looking for a professional, highly motivated individual, to develop and teach toddler and preschool classes, develop educational programs and facilitate play in our exhibit galleries. Candidates should be energetic individuals who have a passion for working with children.

This position requires the need to develop curriculum and teach creative and exciting lessons for two preschool programs as well as other early childhood programs. Candidates should be reliable, display strong classroom management skills, be organized, have a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with others. Candidates must have prior teaching experience in either a formal or informal learning environment.

This is a part-time position Tuesday-Friday with the opportunity to develop into a full-time position.
