Production Associate - Packer

SUMMARY

The Production Associate will be responsible for preparing finished fresh noodle products for packaging and shipment. The Production Associate may be assigned to a specific area or placed in various locations to retrieve the items needed from the inventory, check that they are in good condition, wrap them securely, and pack them for shipping or transport.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Picks up packaged noodles from the end of the cutting line

Checks the quality of product and packaging

Number of noodle portions per sleeve

Type of noodle (thickness, color), Weight

No foreign material is present

The package is completely sealed. No visible tears or holes present

Assembles omiyage boxes; preps and sanitizes trays before filling with products

Neatly boxes and labels finished packaged products

Accurately counts and records total products and cases made

Reloads box inventory for production facility from storage/warehouse

Records and moves completed boxes into cold storage

Completes required logs for documentation

Ensures the surrounding work area is clean, organized, clutter-free, and safe

Follows Sun Noodle GMPs and safe food handling and hygiene practices

Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or GED

Ability to move quickly and move from different tasks efficiently

Able to work in cold and warm environments

Ability to Lift at least 30 pounds continuously

WORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE

Must be able to provide supporting documentation to verify employment authorization for work in the United States.
