Job Description
The Production Mixer mixes and produces dough according to specific recipes.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operates commercial dough mixer
- Checks and verifies incoming raw materials for accuracy and quality
- Checks for any foreign object in the mixer or dough
- Gathers necessary ingredients for mixing stage (restocking);
- Accurately identifies correct recipe mix
- Accurately measures ingredients
- Follows proper mixing procedures; mixes dry and wet ingredients to make the correct dough
- Maintains proper refilling and level of kansui tank and maintains stock of necessary ingredients on mixing stage
- Accurately records required data on the mixer log
- Restocks flour for next-day operation
- Washes and sanitizes all mixing equipment per protocol
- Accurately records raw material data daily
- Ensures surrounding work area is clean, sanitized and organized
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to read different recipes and do simple math calculations
- Follows Sun Noodle GMP’s and safe food handling practices
- Lift at least 50 pounds
- Follows and maintains SUN NOODLE’s Good Manufacturing Practices and good hygiene practices
- Other duties as assigned
