Job Title: Program Coordinator – SEE Program

Location: Honolulu, Hawaii

Schedule: Core Hours are between 7:45am – 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.  Evening and weekend hours required as needed.  Travel may be required.

Compensation: Based on experience with competitive benefits package

FLSA Status: Exempt


Summary: As a Program Coordinator for the Supporting Employment Empowerment (SEE) program, you would manage and coordinate all aspects of the program activities to assure compliance with all applicable requirements and contract goals. We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills, extremely organized, can build rapport with staff and within the community, and who can lead and motivate a team to ensure contract goals are met. 


Essential Duties:


·         Represents SEE with prospective/partner community employers, interagency activities and with funding sources.  Will showcase the benefits of the program with businesses through presentations to potential business partners to develop SEE employment sites.

·         Designs brochures, flyers, presentation materials, and other marketing tools.  Will publicize program accomplishments in successive marketing materials in conjunction with marketing partner.

·         Works with partner employers and SEE participants to develop testimonials which will be captured into marketing materials used for expanded program promotion, resulting in enhanced community involvement.

·         Develops and fosters strong SEE partnership relationships with several large and small businesses in the community to provide paid training employment to participants which includes an established mentoring relationship.

·         Participates in developing and implementing agency administrative policy.  Assures that all aspects of the program's contractual requirements are met.

·         Counsels participants individually or in groups on planned or as needed basis and in emergencies.

·         Trains new employees in areas such as agency policy, department procedures, and agency or government regulations.

·         Provides in-service training for experienced workers in areas such as new policies, procedures, and regulations.

·         Represents agency in community, interagency activities and with funding sources.

·         Conducts or directs staff development programs.

·         Conducts monthly and quarterly audits of program caseload as prescribed by agency and program policy for quality assurance purposes.

·         Responsible for gathering data from staff on a monthly and quarterly basis as it relates to agency and program policy and procedure for reporting purposes.  Verifies that data is correct and submits reports to agency supervisor.

·         Responsible for accessibility reports, outcome measurement reports, and meeting CARF accreditation standards.

·         Monitors budget to stay within program guidelines.

·         Provides experienced and competent leadership in carrying out the policies and procedures of the agency and the program through interagency and interoffice teamwork.

·         Provides community resource information to staff in order to facilitate their success in servicing program participants.

·         Understands and supports implementation of concepts related to self-determination for consumer.

·         Conducts work in a safe and responsible manner, utilizing protective clothing and/or equipment when appropriate. Complies with all safety standards.

·         Responsible for awareness of and adherence to all company and safety policies and procedures.

·         Follows state policies and procedures as specified in contract.

·         Ensures that client confidentiality is maintained in accordance with contract, State, and Federal law including HIPAA.

·         Responsible for staff supervision. 

·         Assists staff members through individual and group meetings in analyzing employee placement, performance and retention, case problems, and in meeting the goals of the program.

·         Reviews case records and evaluates performance of staff members and recommends follow up action.

·         Responsible for program implementation.  Assures that all aspects of the program's contractual requirements are met, including serving as the primary funder point of contact.

·         Meets with program funders on a regular basis to ensure fulfillment of effective contract services and funder satisfaction.  Completes participant, employer and funder satisfaction surveys on a quarterly basis.

·         Completes administrative actions pertaining to participant files such as closures, transfers, sanctions, and sanction cures.  Also, responsible for insuring that the conciliation process is being followed.

·         Responsible for awareness of and adherence to all company policies and procedures.  Monitors program to remain within budget.

·         Follows state policies and procedures as specified in contract.

Minimum Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS) from accredited college or university (preferred) and/or three to five years related work experience in social work, human services, counseling, assessments, goal planning, job development, customer service or conflict resolution; or

·         Equivalent combination of experience and education

·         Two to four years supervisory experience

·         CPR/Fist Aid certified (or willingness to obtain certifications)

·         Valid Hawaii driver’s license and clean traffic abstract

·         Access to an insured vehicle with current registration
