Job Description

Local furniture store with over 30 years in business is seeking a Project Coordinator. This full-time position will be tasked with assisting clients and their furniture projects, from researching and pricing to ordering, overseeing installation, and invoicing. 


It's critical that candidates have the ability to juggle many tasks while always keeping the big picture and end results in mind. You will also need a positive can-do attitude and excellent problem-solving skills.


Additional Responsibilities:


  • Research, price and purchase furniture products according to client specifications
  • Order products, coordinate shipping, and track deliveries
  • Oversee the projects through installation
  • Invoice accordingly and assist with accounts receivable
  • Assist with responses to  RFPs/RFQs. 


Required Education and Qualifications:


  • Previous purchasing, procurement, or accounting experience preferred
  • Must be very organized, detail-oriented, and flexible to accommodate constant changes
  • Strong typing and computer skills, intermediate skills using Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to successfully work as part of a team 
  • Willingness to work late and/or on weekends on rare occasion in order to meet deadlines 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
